Privacy Policy

LearnlyGo ("LearnlyGo", "we", "us") is an AI literacy learning platform available at learnlygo.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the website, the learning application, and our emails.

1. Data we collect

Account data: email address, first and last name, password (stored as a secure hash by our authentication provider), and, if you sign in with Google, the name and email Google shares with us.

Profile and preferences: age, role, interests, learning goals, daily goal, preferred learning time, and language.

Learning activity: lessons started and completed, answers you give inside lessons (including free-text answers), XP, streaks, and the thinking-profile signals derived from how you work through exercises.

Payment data:handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we keep only your subscription or purchase status and Stripe's customer reference.

Usage data: product analytics events, device and browser information, and session replays (see section 4).

2. How we use your data

To provide and personalize the learning experience, process payments, send service and reminder emails you can opt out of, keep the service secure, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data and we do not show third-party advertising.

3. AI processing of your answers

Several lesson types send the text you write to Anthropic, our AI provider, so that Byte can respond to and evaluate your thinking. This content is processed to run the lesson and to build your thinking profile. Do not include sensitive personal information in your lesson answers; the exercises never require it. AI-generated responses can be inaccurate and are provided for learning purposes only.

4. Analytics and session replay

We use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to understand how the product is used. This includes event analytics and session replays: reconstructed recordings of in-app interactions. Text you type into input fields is masked in replays. Analytics data is used only to improve LearnlyGo.

5. Service providers

We share data only with the processors that run the service: Supabase (database and authentication), Anthropic (AI processing), Stripe (payments), PostHog (analytics), Resend (email delivery), and our hosting and network providers (Hetzner, Cloudflare). Each processes data under its own data-processing agreement with us.

6. Children's privacy

LearnlyGo can be used by children under 13 only with verifiable parental consent. During sign-up we ask under-13 users for a parent or guardian's email address and send that parent a confirmation code; the account can only be completed after the code is entered. We store the parent's email and the consent timestamp. Parents may review their child's data, withdraw consent, or request deletion of the child's account at any time by writing to [email protected].

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and security (for example, keeping you signed in and validating early-access and parental-consent flows) and analytics cookies for PostHog. We do not use advertising cookies.

8. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where the law requires longer retention (for example, payment records).

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and Türkiye's KVKK), you have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority. To exercise any right, email [email protected]; we respond within 30 days.

10. International transfers

Our database and analytics are hosted in the European Union. Some providers (such as Anthropic and Stripe) process data in the United States under recognized transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses.

11. Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date. For material changes we will notify you by email or in-app notice.
